14-year-old student has been taking lessons with Mr. Andy for little over a year. Despite problems with note reading and finger coordination, and despite the busy sports schedule, student has been able to gradually gain skill and confidence to play with both hands. 11-year-old student has been taking lessons with Mr. Andy for two years. Student used to dislike lessons when he was little; but now, student has grown to enjoy and even sings during lessons. Above, student is playing one of his mom’s favorite hymns Come Thou Almighty King.
15-year-old student has been taking lessons with Mr. Andy for two years. Although disinterested in the Classical method, student otherwise has a lot of heart for music. With Mr. Andy’s assistance, student was able to master one of his favorite pieces, Piano Library.
10-year-old student has been taking lessons with Mr. Andy for two years. Initially, student struggled to play even the easiest songs and would often mix up his left hand from his right. 11-year-old student has been taking lessons with Mr. Andy for 8 months. His gift of memorization has helped him learn pieces quickly and with help from Mr. Andy, student has learned to play his mom’s favorite Turkish March.
9-year-old student has been taking lessons with Mr. Andy for three years. In the beginning, student had difficult time reading notes and adjusting from playing with one hand to both hands. Now, after gaining more experience and confidence, student is able to naturally play classical pieces, such as Carnival of Venice.
12-year-old student had taken lessons when he was little but had forgotten a lot during adolescence. After 9 months of lessons with Mr. Andy, the student has regained his abilities to playing classical pieces, such as La Donna È Mobile.
10-year-old student has been taking lessons with Mr. Andy for little over two years. Despite a nearly one year break, student has been able to pick back up and progress has been smooth since then. Above, student is playing a song from the book called The Thing that Has No Name!.
